Dagnon Roofing was started in 1961 by Donald Dagnon in Rockford, IL. In the beginning, he built houses and demanded perfection in every detail. Donald was actually known to count the number of nails to ensure perfection. Donald built houses up until 1986, and then the industry changed towards building homes for volume, not quality. Dagnon did not believe in those volume based philosophies. Therefore, the focus of his company changed to exteriors as opposed to house construction.
In 1984, Doug Dagnon, who had been working for his father since he was 15 years old, took over his father’s business and continues to carry on the Dagnon tradition of perfection and quality for his clients.
